Trip Highlights

The Everest Base Camp Trek is filled with unforgettable experiences from the very beginning. Your journey starts with a scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, offering the first breathtaking glimpse of the Himalayas. As you trek higher, the vibrant Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar welcomes you with its lively markets, cultural richness, and stunning viewpoints. A visit to the historic Tengboche Monastery, set against the backdrop of Ama Dablam and Everest, adds a spiritual touch to the adventure. Walking through the Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will encounter diverse landscapes, alpine forests, and rare wildlife. The trail takes you alongside the dramatic Khumbu Glacier and Icefall, building anticipation until you finally stand at the legendary Everest Base Camp (5,364 m)—a dream destination for adventurers worldwide. The highlight of the trek is the early morning hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 m), where the golden sunrise unveils the closest and most spectacular views of Mount Everest. Along the way, the warm hospitality of Sherpa communities, traditional teahouses, and prayer flag–adorned trails make this journey more than just a trek—it becomes a life-changing Himalayan experience.
